About Sarison Communications + Design

Kassie Boehringer began her career in 1992 as the public relations coordinator for Wildlife Safari, a drive-through zoological park in Winston, Oregon. With a small staff and shoestring budget, Kassie successfully produced collateral materials, organized special events, and pitched media stories. She even traveled with a cheetah and an elephant for regional media opportunities.

Kassieís next position brought her to her alma mater, Lewis & Clark College, where she was part of the Public Relations Department. In addition to placing media stories, Kassie wrote and designed the bi-weekly newsletter for faculty and staff, and coordinated a special events series called Arts Alive!

For nearly 12 years, Kassie served as the State Communications Director for the March of Dimes, Greater Oregon Chapter. Charged with increasing awareness of the March of Dimes mission, programs and fundraising events, Kassie developed in-depth and award-winning marketing campaigns with limited resources. As a one-person department, she led media efforts, placed public service announcements, managed the chapterís website, and created collateral materials including T-shirts, brochures, logos, newsletters, annual reports, invitations, outdoor displays and more.

Today, Kassie brings these varied experiences to Sarison Communications + Design. She understands how to target audiences with creative and effective communications. As a writer and designer, she can bring your brand to life with eye-catching visuals and thoughtful text.
